MATERIAL: All extruded aluminum – 6063-T6
FINISH: Standard 2 powder coat – black
DIMENSIONS: 5’ 6” projection x with equal legs of 37 ft on each side.
FASCIA: Optional 16 inch tall aluminum “bent plate” fascia with 2 inch legs turned outward. Taller bent plate attaches to standard 8 inch tall “J” style fascia which then acts as a sub fascia and also integral gutter for basic canopy. The lowest part of the optional bent plate fascia is mounted 1 inch below the lowest part of the standard 8 inch fascia component.
SUNSHADE LOUVERS: Located on either side of entry door section. 1/8 inch thick extruded aluminum louver blades set at a 45 degree back slant on nominal 8 inch spacings between blades.
SOLID DECKING SECTION: Located over entry door section of canopy only: provides weather protected area over entrance area. Decking: optional 6 inch wide flat soffit style decking set at right angles over wall. Solid decking covered area is nominal 14 ft wide at center of “SuperShade” canopy.
HANGER RODS: Standard 1 inch diameter powder coated to match canopy finish color.
ESCUTCHEON PLATES: Standard 3 inch diameter powder coated to match canopy finish.
WALL ATTACHMENT: Through bolts at upper and lower connections into masonry pilasters with structural steel frame behind. Through bolts and compression tubes provided by Mapes with lengths as required.
DRAINAGE: Standard scupper drainage in solid decking areas. Field drilled weep holes as needed for open sunshade louver areas.
FINISHES AVAILABLE: Clear anodized. Bronze or white baked enamel.
