MATERIAL: All extruded aluminum.
FINISH: Mapes standard clear anodized.
DIMENSIONS: 1 unitd at 5 ft projection x 23 ft. wide. Note: The canopy projects straight out on both sides by 3 ft. before beginning the front curve portion that takes the total canopy projection to 5 ft.
FASCIA: Standard 8 inch thick tall extruded aluminum “G” style on 3 sides (.125 thick).
SUNSHADE LOUVERS: 1/8 inch thick extruded aluminum 6063-T6 at 45 degrees back slant on nominal 8 inch spacings between blades (louver blade spacing available if requested).
SUNSHADE DESIGN NOTE: While this project uses open louver sunshades over the entire width of the sunshade, this style of canopy frame can easily substitute solid decking over the doorway at the time of manufacture or it can be replaced now if wanted.
HANGER RODS: Standard 1 inch diameter powder coated to match sunshade finish.
ESCUTCHEON PLATES: Optional 8 inch round x .25 inch thick steel plates powder coated to match canopy finish.
WALL ATTACHMENT: Upper and lower connections through-bolted into adequately blocked structural wood frame/metal stud components behind the efis exterior. Through bolts including compression crush sleeves are included and provided by Mapes.
DRAINAGE: Simple 1 inch diameter “weep holes” field drilled at both front corners of the fascia to weep condensation, etc.
FINISHES AVAILABLE: Clear anodized. Bronze or white baked enamel.
